Guidelines:

Simultaneous submissions are allowed, but please let us know in your email and notify us immediately if your work is accepted elsewhere (and congratulations!)

Please notify us in your email if and where your work has been previously published

Please submit work in 12-point font, Times New Roman.

Your work can absolutely incorporate language from your mother tongue, but should mainly be in English.

Poetry:
- We love all styles and forms of poetry.
- You may submit up to six poems.

- Please submit all poems in a single file
- Please title each poem

Prose (Fiction, Nonfiction, Hybrid Genre, Interviews, Reviews, etc.):
- You may submit up to four pieces.
- Submissions should be under 5,000 words each.
- Please submit all work in a single file
- Please title each piece

Art:
- You may submit up to six pieces for consideration in our magazine.
- Please submit a short explanation (200-500 words) of the process and the message behind each piece in the email.
- Please attach each piece as a separate file in the email

Rights:
For accepted pieces, The Jhumka Review asks for First North American Serial Rights and First Electronic Rights. After publication, all rights will revert back to you. You may resubmit your work elsewhere once the piece has been published, given that you credit this publication. We reserve the nonexclusive rights to publish and archive all accepted submissions.
